Privacy Policy

ReadyOne Tech Ventures, LLC, 13921 Mackey Street, Overland Park, KS 66223, runs readyliteracy.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, and who we share it with.
What we collect
- Account details: name, email, role (for example, classroom teacher or principal), grade level for teachers, school name for principals, and the school you belong to.
- Training activity: modules started and finished, quiz answers and scores, Praxis practice scores by topic area, number of practice questions answered, practice streak, and dates of activity.
- Purchase records: what you bought, the amount, the date, and the payment reference from Stripe. You enter card details on Stripe's checkout page; we do not see or store your full card number.
- Messages sent through the Service: for example, messages a principal sends to a teacher, which we deliver by email.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device information in our server logs, and, on our public pages, Google Analytics data.
AI tutor: when you ask the AI tutor a question, your question and the course module you are in are sent to Anthropic to generate an answer. We do not store your tutor conversations.
How we use it
- To run your account and give you access to the course.
- To track your progress and show your results.
- To show your progress to the principal or school buyer whose school you joined.
- To process payments and send receipts.
- To send emails about your account, such as invitations, password resets, and certificates.
- To answer support requests.
- To fix problems and improve the course.
- To understand how visitors find our site and whether our ads lead to purchases.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it to target ads to you. We share it only as follows:
- Your school. If you join a school through an invitation, the principal or district administrator who invited you sees your name, email, progress, quiz scores, and practice test results.
- Service providers that run parts of the Service for us, who may use the data only to provide their service:
- Supabase (database and sign-in)
- Hostinger (server hosting)
- Stripe (payments)
- Anthropic (AI tutor)
- Purelymail (email delivery)
- Synthesia (course videos)
- Google (Analytics)
- Cloudflare (domain services and a code library used to create certificates)
- When the law requires it, or to protect the safety of the Service or its users.
- If ReadyOne is sold or merged, with the new owner, under this policy.
Cookies and browser storage
We keep you signed in and save some course progress using your browser's local storage. Google Analytics uses cookies to count visits and to measure whether our ads lead to purchases. We do not use advertising cookies for remarketing or ad targeting. You can block cookies in your browser settings, or use Google's opt-out tool for Analytics.
Student information
The Service is for adults. Do not enter information about your students, including in the AI tutor.
How long we keep it
We keep account and course records while your account is open, so you can show your completion record. Purchase records are kept as long as tax law requires. You can ask us to delete your account sooner.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct, or delete your information. Email hello@readyliteracy.com. If you joined a school, deleting your account also removes your progress from that school's dashboard.
Where your information is processed
Our service providers may process your information in the United States and other countries where they operate.
Security
We use reasonable steps to protect your information, including encrypted connections and restricted access to our database. No system is perfectly secure.
Changes
We will post any change here with a new date. If a change is significant, we will email account holders.
